Mitzi

Mitzi was the most unique cat. She was so smart and playful. I remember the first time I saw her, she was in a cage at Petco up for adoption. She was a little over a year old. Her previous family had moved and they couldn't take her. She was gorgeous...a little princess. A true Calico, on the outside and inside. I couldn't understand how anyone could leave her behind. I had to have her so we took her home and she lived a wonderful life with us for 14 years. She would open cabinets and come running anytime you got in the fridge for some cheese. She lived a very healthy life until February 2008. She got sick and was loosing weight. She had hyperthyroid so we got her on meds and she started to gain weight and become her old self. Unfortunately the hyperthyroid condition masked her kidney issues which eventually took her from us.

Mitzi, you were a joy all your years on this earth. You now join your buddies Casper and Chelsea in heaven. All of us, especially Gato miss you terribly. I know we will all be together again someday. No more pain baby girl, just fun filled days playing in the clouds with all your other furry friends.
