You were very much like Lady to look at but you were not a snob like her.

The vet that was responsible for Beckie's death was also responsible for yours. He told me I would have to cage you for the rest of your life, you were Diabetic, if you went out you might catch a bird, mouse or anything that could send you into the spirit world so I had to let you go or be cruel to you and cage you. I did what I had to because I loved you. Please forgive me my darling.

I miss all of you so much. I love you dear little Smudge. Rest in peace.
