The minute you entered my life, it was forever changed. You were such a great cat and companion. You saw me through some difficult times and for that I am grateful. It’s hard to believe you are not here. You will not be here in the morning to be fed. You will never again look at me with your “I want to lie on your lap” face. I will not see your big, fluffy belly when you lay on your back in the sun. Never again hear your soft meow.

9 years was simply not long enough. In the end, you fought hard but your kidneys were just not strong enough.

You were my best friend and I miss you terribly. You will always be in my heart. Mommy and Daddy miss you and love you very much Scootie Pie.

Mr. Z, please look after my cat until we can be together again.
