Phillip

To our dear sweet Phillip. A wonderful tuxedo cat who I met in 1994 and stole my heart. As I fell in love with your Mistress you kindly stepped aside so I could become her Husband. In return for your gracious act I enjoyed spending the next decade loving you with all my heart. You made Terry and I laugh for years and cry these last two days as the Lord God called you, His creation, home. I have asked Him to place you in the mansion of your Mistress, that He as prepared for her, so you may be a friendly face to greet her forever in the new Heaven and new Earth.

Loving you was never a choice Phillip, it was instead a blessing I cherished everyday we knew each other. As I heard you cry out your voice, to announce to the world you lived, and that you mat tered, and that it was now your time, I wept with joy that Jesus allowed your best and worst days to become part of my soul. You are a part of me forever Phillip. Thank you so very much for loving me; you've made me a better man. I look forward to seeing you on the other side.
