Snowball
Born: August 26, 1995
Died: August 15, 2006
snowball was a very special cat. he was like a brother to me, except in feline form. he had a long healthy life but was sadly taken from us and he is missed greatly.
snowball came into my life on december 15th 1995 when my aunt brought him over. he was given to me as an early christmas present. i fell in love with him instantly. he was taken from us on august 15th 2006, 11 days before he would have turned 11 years old.
snowball and i had a special bond, something no one else could do with him. we had alittle boxing matches and slapping matches. no one got hurt though:).
i think snowball was a VERY unique cat. he had a light yellow line that started from the top of his head to the tip of his tail. it wasnt noticable unless the light hit it just right and you were looking for it. he also had those mischievious moments where he would see invisible squigglies on the linolium in your kitchen and he would chase them. he kept us entertained for hours. snowball was also a polite cat. whenever he wanted to get on your lap, he would ALWAYS tap your leg or your arm to make sure it was ok to jump up. he's the first cat that ive ever known to do that.
my family and i have stories about snowball that would make anyone laugh. one story in particular takes place during football season. i should mention that my family and i are from the state of wisconsin. my parents are packer fans and one season my dad got a cheese hat. anyways, snowball was investigating the big cheese hat. when he had gotten closer to it, my dad lightly tapped the hat and snowball jumped up in the air, did a 360 degree turn(in the air mind you) and ran into a different room and hid for a few hours.
snowball is missed every moment of every day. he has been gone for almost a year now and the littlest things about him are becoming more harder to remember, such as his meow, or the way he looked at you when he was on your lap. luckily, we have pictures to keep his memory alive. i had taken so many pictures of snowball that i could make about 3 albums worth of just him. but i only have a few on the computer right now.
