You were my light in my day. My Bestest Buddy, as I use to call you.
I use to sing a little song to you daily
He so cool He is so Fine
He is my Cody dog of mine.
You will always have your pawprint on my heart forever.
Take care, my bestest buddy, until I can hold you again in my arms.

Last June I had a quadruple bypass, Cody, I missed you so very much while hospitalized, even friends said it was strange I did not have my dog beside me in that hospital bed, when I came home to recover, you were there, by my side the entire time, never leaving me even to go bed at night. Last Fall, we had three men come into our house and hold us at gunpoint, all you did was walk up to sniff to see who they were, you were not mean, or barking, you just wanted to see who they were, and they shot you in the head for no reason, I thought I had lost my baby then, but you survived, you lost your eye, and your jaw was shattered but you fought hard and survived, we all feel like you were our guardian angel that day.

I love you Cody, you will always be a part of me.
