JJ
Born: September 7, 1995
Died: August 2, 2005
JJ was the kindest and most gentle soul we have ever known. His eyes lit up exposing his soul. He bounced and played even at 9 years old like a new puppy and loved every minute of life. He loved everyone and everything. He knew he was special and would high step to prove it. He was so proud of who he was because of how proud we were of him.
I remember we brought home a cat, wanting to intigrate it into the family. The cat wanted nothing to do with JJ. JJ laid by it's crate for 3 days wanting to make friends. We let the cat out and introduced it to JJ, the cat smacked JJ in the face not once, not twice but 3 times and JJ just looked at the cat to tell her he loved her. They became really good friends. JJ was determined that if you didn't like him he was going to win you over.
He hated to hear Cheryl cry. He'd jump on her lap and hug and kiss her. If we so much as raised our voices to each other he would jump into one of our laps to calm the issue. We never fought hard but JJ didn't even like small disagreements.
At four months old our 19 1/2 year old Sheltie, JoJo, who was blind and deaf would get lost down our hill. We would tell JJ to go get him and he would go down the hill , poke JoJo and have him follow him back. We never taught JJ this, he knew to do it on his own.
He loved from the deepest part of his soul and he is the dog (K9 child) that took our hearts to the limit.
JJ is sorely missed, the tears keep coming and we cannot wait for the day when we will see him again. We promised him he would be the 1st we looked for.
We love you JJ, you brought so much to our lives and we are so sad to have lost you temporarily. God will hold you til we get there. Hugs and Puppy kisses. Mom and Dad
