After the loss of my precious Oscar (daschund) in August 07 I decided the next dog I got would be a "special needs" dog. I looked for several months before finding you and your brother whose only "special needs" were your age (11 & 13) and your need to stay together. Today it was evident that our time together was coming to an end. With the vet looking on and me holding you and talking to you and telling you of all the friends you would met, I watched you slip away. I know your are healthy now and have met our friends. But when will my heart catch up with my mind? I miss your trust and your wagging tail and your brown eyes.

Your brother is doing ok, he has Bella to help him and they play together often. He has ask about you but I just tell him you are safe, happy and healthy and waiting for us both. Until we meet again dear friend enjoy all that is awaiting you there. And tell Oscar, Bart, Gus, Clyde, Joy and Moe they are still in my heart even though they are no longer physically with us.
