Reebok Okeefe

My Little Reebok was my best friend - an only dog. I never had children so he was the world to me. He was a Lhasa Apsos. He was born on my brother Tommy's birthday in 1992 - Tommy died in 1980, so I took this as a sign from above and chose him (the runt of the litter) because his other siblings ignored him. I would visit everyday until the day I finally brought him "home" with me. we had almost 15 years of shared friendship and love. Reebok was goodnatured and friendly, but fiercely protective towards me; Reebok would challenge newcomers to the house - if they passed his "inspection" they were allowed inside!
I am hearing impaired since childhood, and Reebok caught on to that somehow; whenever the phone rang or the someone was at the front door he would come to me and bark once and lead me towards either the door or the phone!
I miss him so much, especially now - almost one year has passed since his death, and it is the 2nd holiday season without him. I still have his little "santa" hat and xmas stocking. I can't even look at them anymore. Rest in Peace, little buddy....
