Molly

Today, I lost my best friend to diabetes. I was lucky that she chose me. Molly had been left at a park where I walked daily, an obvious victim of abuse. After the third day of trying to coax her to come home with me, she finally made the leap to give me a chance. We spent almost 9 great years together. She was a loyal friend, and I could see in her eyes, that she too found this in me. We had an incredible jouney--enjoyable walks, playing chase, and unconditional love. She stuck by me when I was diagnosed with cancer, and gave me the strength to fight. Together, we won the battle. Though her little body gave out, her big heart will live on forever in my thoughts. Thank you Molly for giving me the opportunity to have you in my life, and allowing me to love you so, and loving me back. You will always be my four-legged angel!
