Reggie

Reggie and I became a family for my fifteenth birthday. He was miniature poodle. Reggie was extremely intelligent and cared deeply for his family. He loved nothing more than going for a ride in the car and came with us on many vacations. Reggie slept in my bed by my side for thirteen years. I have so many wonderful memories of my little bear. He truly was my best friend. He knew when I was upset and could always cheer me up. I loved coming home to find him there excited to see me. I feel so lost knowing I will never see, feel, or smell him again. He passed away right next to me on my way to an emergency animal hospital. He was so strong and I hope I comforted him as much as possible in his ordeal. Words can't express my love or my grief. I just hope that one day we can meet again. Reggie, I miss and love you dearly. You are forever in my heart. I love you.
