Duke

Duke you were loved by many but none more than me. You were always so kind to children and you would smile while a child stroked your head. You were always kind to other animals. You always enjoyed going in all the rooms at the Veterniary Clinic and entertaining with all of your many tricks. Somehow you knew when it was time to take over your duties as a guard dog and you were great at that job too. I will forever miss you and your smile. You loved me so and I did you. I miss your bark and the gentle nudges to keep me going. Age, lung disease, liver disease and a tumor in your ear took it's toll on you but you never let all these things get you down. Go gently and wait with Shadeaux and Breaux at the Bridge for me. I love you my Dukester
