Lloyd

It is with a heavy heart I announce that my precious Lloyd has gone to the rainbow bridge. We adopted him only about 8 months ago from a family who could not take him and his brother to their new home. He was about 2.5 years old or possibly older when he came to us. Lloydie was the sweetest, most affectionate rat. He would kiss my hands as we cuddled and he got so excited to see me. My sweet boy had a mass in his chest and it was causing him respiratory distress. In his last few weeks he lay in my arms with his head nestled in my neck most of the time. I kept him with me out of his cage as much as possible. Lloydie was the most special creature I have ever been blessed to know. We miss him so much. I believe we will meet again someday. Till then I will keep him in my heart.
