It's been almost 13 years since I last saw your smiling face and heard your gentle loving voice. Although the years have passed, I still love and miss you very much. There is an empty spot here without you. You have missed out on so much, but I know that you are still seeing everything and you are with me. When I was a little girl, I followed you everywhere. You said, I was your "little shadow." You were so generous and and giving. You would have given the "shirt off your back" if you could have. I know we were always in your thoughts and prayers. You loved each and every one of us. You left us all so quickly without us saying our good-byes. I hope you know how much I love you and how deeeply missed you are. I never told you how proud I was of you that you served 4 years in the U.S. Army during W.W.II and were in the Invasion on Normandy risking your life, defending our country. Many died that day, but God had a plan for you; to be the loving caring father I knew. Dad, you are My True Hero! Although, I am grown, I will always be your baby girl. I love you, Dad!
